ETHAN WILLIAM BOWERS
Ethan William Bowers is a singer, songwriter, and bandleader based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. His style of Americana and Alt-Country features pop sensibility and cross-genre arrangement.
Ethan grew up in a household of mainstream country music enthusiasts and metalheads. As a teenager, Ethan discovered pop punk and into adulthood he began to explore the world of indie and folk songwriters. These mainstream influences, coupled with his interest in independent artistry, are what form the basis of Ethan's music.
When performing live he regularly features a rotating cast of Fort Wayne's best musicians, all from different genres and backgrounds. He has appeared three times on WBOI's Meet the Music with Julia Meek, and a listing for his album "Pale & Porcelain" as one of the best albums of 2013 in Whatz Up Magazine.
His recent releases, the full-length "Castle of Ghosts" and the EP "Panic Tax" have both received extensive local radio play and have been featured on Alt 99.5's Homegrown Showcase and Homegrown Spotlight. This latest release (Panic Tax EP), with backing band The Painted Strangers, was featured in the December 11, 2025 issue of Whatz Up Magazine and has also been covered by The Big Take-Over, Rotate Magazine, Cheers to the Vikings!, and Pressed Orange Music.
